When is the Glasgow Poker Festival 2026?

The Glasgow Poker Festival runs from Tuesday, Nov. 3, to Sunday, Nov. 8, 2026, at Alea Casino, according to the Irish Poker Tour’s official page. The schedule actually opened a day early: Day 1A of a £120 Mystery Bounty ran on Monday, Nov. 2, and its final was played on Tuesday night.

The tour lists a festival guarantee of “£350,000+” across all events. The Main Event accounts for £200,000 of that. A guide to UK live poker in November from Pokergods lists the same £400 buy-in and £200,000 guarantee.

All times below are local, in GMT. Glasgow is on the same clock as London.

How does the Main Event work?

The Main Event costs £400 and gives you 40,000 chips in each Day 1 flight, with up to two re-entries per flight. Most flights have nine levels of 30 or 40 minutes. Players who finish a flight with chips move on to the final day; the tour’s notes say payouts usually go to about the top 10% of the whole field, across all flights.

The tour also holds back 3% of every prize pool for staff and 1% for the festival leaderboard, according to the same notes.

What it means for players in the United Kingdom

You can play the festival in person if you are 18 or older; you register at Alea Casino. It is a live event, so there is no online qualifier through our partner rooms.

Online, sites that serve British players need a UK Gambling Commission licence, and the rules target operators, not players. Check how this works, and which sites take British players, in our guide to real money poker in the UK.

Among our partners, three rooms list the United Kingdom: ACR Poker, CoinPoker and Guts. Through us, ACR pays 35% rakeback and Guts 30% at the top level of its loyalty program, both paid monthly. CoinPoker pays 30% every week, in its CHP token. If you sign up through the button in our Guts Poker review and message us on Telegram, we register your account under our deal. You can also compare every room in our list of the best online poker sites, or see what that percentage is worth with the rakeback calculator.
