Who won GUKPT Blackpool last year?

Konstantinos Patsourakis won the 2025 Main Event for £67,990, from a £289,560 prize pool, according to PokerNews. Ravi Sheth won the November 2024 edition for £68,580, from 299 entries.

The record crowd in recent years came in November 2022, when 543 entries built a £597,300 prize pool and Jamie Clossick took £109,000. A big field this year could push the prize pool well past the £250,000 guarantee.

What it means for players in the UK

You can play GUKPT Blackpool in person if you are 18 or over, at Grosvenor Casino on the South Promenade. Buy-ins are paid at the venue in pounds. Grosvenor runs the festival in its own casino, so you don’t need an online account to play it.

Online is different. Sites that serve British players need a UK Gambling Commission licence, and the rules target the operators, not the players. Before you deposit anywhere, read our guide to real money poker in the United Kingdom.

If you also grind online between festivals, rakeback gives back part of the rake you pay. Our ACR Poker review explains our deal: 35% rakeback, paid monthly, when you sign up through the button on the review and message us on Telegram. You can compare all the rooms on our list of the best online poker sites.
