What is CoinPoker PGT Online?

CoinPoker PGT Online is a partnership that brings the PokerGO Tour brand to CoinPoker for a full year, with six online series and $250 million in combined guarantees. PokerGO runs the PGT, the high-roller circuit behind the Poker Masters and the U.S. Poker Open, and films its events at the PokerGO Studio at Aria in Las Vegas.

Each series will include satellites, daily tournaments, feature events and a Main Event, according to PokerStrategy. Card Player reports that satellites and freerolls will run throughout the season, so you don’t need to buy in directly for the big events.

Only the first series has a schedule so far. PokerStrategy reports that the next five will borrow their names from PokerGO’s flagship live events.

CoinPoker announced the tour on its official X account on Oct. 23:

When does PGT Online start, and what’s on the schedule?

PGT Online starts on Sunday, Nov. 8, with the PGT KickOff Online, which runs through Nov. 30 and carries $50 million in guarantees. These are the headline events published so far, according to Card Player and PokerStrategy:

These six events add up to $9.5 million. The rest of the $50 million comes from the other tournaments in the series, which CoinPoker had not listed in detail when this article went live.

In a mystery bounty, each knockout pays a prize drawn at random instead of a fixed amount. In the Mystery Million, the top prize is $50,000. Winners of selected headline events, including the Main Events, get a physical trophy shipped home and a digital one in their CoinPoker Trophy Cabinet. Those events are marked “Trophy Events” in the lobby.

How do you qualify for the $1 million Vegas final?

You qualify through the PGT Millionaire Challenges in the CoinPoker app, and each of the six series offers its own way to earn one of the 50 seats. The final is a $1 million winner-take-all event at the PokerGO Studio in January 2028.

There is a second route for regulars. Card Player and PokerStrategy describe it this way:

  • An “active day” is any day you enter at least one PGT Online tournament.
  • A streak, such as 10 active days in a row, earns a Loyalty Badge.
  • Each badge comes with a ticket to a qualifier tournament for a Vegas seat.
  • Complete the same challenges in the next series, and you get two qualifier tickets instead of one.
  • When you repeat a streak, your earlier badge is locked into your Trophy Cabinet. If the streak breaks, badges that are not locked in can expire, but you can start a new streak in any later series.

Players who win a seat can keep playing the “Finalist Journey” challenges in later series to unlock upgrades for the Las Vegas trip. Seat-holders must be 21 or older and pass KYC (identity) verification before the final.

What it means for players in the US

CoinPoker accepts players from almost every country, including the United States, but it is an international site licensed in Anjouan, in the Comoros, and not by any US state, so state consumer protections don’t apply. Every table on CoinPoker runs in USDT, a stablecoin pegged to the dollar. You can deposit in crypto, or by card where the cashier offers it, and withdrawals are crypto only. If you are new to that, see our list of poker sites that accept Bitcoin. Qualifying runs through the CoinPoker app; for how the apps work on phones, see our guide to online poker apps.

If you open your account through the button in our CoinPoker review and message us on Telegram, your account qualifies for 30% rakeback through our deal, and CoinPoker’s 150% first-deposit bonus up to $2,000 also applies, under the room’s terms.
