What it means for players in the US
You can play RGPS events only in person, at the card rooms that host each stop, so you need to be in that state and meet the room’s age rule. Online, Florida and South Carolina don’t license poker sites; only a few states, such as Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan, do. Our Florida online poker guide and the US online poker guide explain the rules state by state.
Many US players also use international rooms, which are not licensed by any US state, so state consumer protections don’t apply. If you choose one, ACR Poker runs big online series such as the Venom and pays 35% rakeback through us, monthly, and Ignition Poker pays 40%.
